Arrival by air

Frankfurt/Main international airport is only 90 km from Lohr.

Sorg Map There are hourly one-change rail connections from the airport station to Lohr. The journey takes about 1½ - 1¾ hours. Lohr station is about 5 minutes walk from the SORG offices.

By road, the journey from the airport takes about 1 hour. On leaving the airport take the A3 motorway in the direction of Würzburg. After about 65 km leave the motorway at the exit for Weibersbrunn and follow the signs to Lohr.

Arrival by road

Lohr is situated within easy reach of two major motorways, the A7 which runs north/south, and the A3, which runs approximately east/west near to Lohr.
The best exits to use are :

A7 from north

Use exit Hammelburg, follow signs to Gemünden and then Lohr.

A7 or A81 from south

Turn west onto A3 towards Frankfurt, use exit Marktheidenfeld, follow signs to Lohr.

A3 from south-east

Use exit Marktheidenfeld, follow signs to Lohr.

A3 from west/north

Use exit Weibersbrunn, follow signs to Lohr

Arrival by train

There is an hourly service connecting Lohr to the next larger towns of Würzburg (in the direction of Nuremberg/Munich) and Aschaffenburg (in the direction of Frankfurt).

Both of these towns are stopping points on the Deutsche Bahn InterCity network.The journey takes about ½ hour from both towns. Lohr station is about 5 minutes walk from the SORG offices.

From the north (Hammelburg, Gemünden)

Approaching Lohr, turn right opposite McDonalds Restaurant. Drive straight to the end of the road (250 m) and you will find the SORG offices in front of you.

From Würzburg

Follow signs to B26 and Gemünden.After joining B26 turn left opposite McDonalds Restaurant. Drive straight to the end of the road (250 m) and you will find the SORG offices in front of you.

From the south (Marktheidenfeld)

Follow signs to B26 and Gemünden. After joining B26 turn left opposite McDonalds Restaurant. Drive straight to the end of the road (250 m) and you will find the SORG offices in front of you.

From the west (Frankfurt)

Stay on the B26 towards Gemünden. Turn left opposite McDonalds Restaurant. Drive straight to the end of the road (250 m) and you will find the SORG offices in front of you.
