Wolfgang Blüthner, a veteran of Nikolaus SORG, is retiring after 35 years with the company. He joined the former Karl-Heinz Sorg sales department as a project manager in 1990.

As a project manager, he often worked behind the scenes but contributed greatly to the company’s success through his calculations and quotations, technical clarifications with customers and collaboration with internal technical departments.

Over the years, Wolfgang further developed the structure of SORG’s quotation system, particularly in calculation and quotation processes. This work also laid the foundation for introducing the ERP system, to which he contributed decisively with his expertise.
