SORG Group marks one year since the renaming and rebranding of former engineering company Techglass to SORG Polska.

The milestone follows the acquisition of Techglass in 2024 and reflects the successful integration of the Polish organisation into the SORG Group network.

The rebranding was designed to formally align teams, technology and market activities under a unified brand structure, strengthening SORG’s ability to support glass manufacturers across Central and Eastern Europe.

The integration was positioned as a strategic long-term development initiative rather than a simple organisational change.

Dr. Sebastian Woltz, Sales Director of Nikolaus SORG, said the objective was to establish closely coordinated organisations working together as part of a unified engineering and market network.

The integration framework included cross-functional collaboration structures, technical alignment programmes and dedicated coordination processes to accelerate transformation.

Cultural and organisational integration was considered equally important. Employee engagement, transparency and team cohesion were prioritised to ensure strong identification with the Group organisation.

Today, SORG Polska operates as a regional centre for engineering, project execution and customer support, combining local market knowledge with global SORG technology capabilities.

Radoslaw Guzik, Managing Director of SORG Polska, commented that the services market for packaging glass manufacturers has remained challenging, with strong competition and pressure on pricing.
